Jill is a Director of Family Office Services and based in British Columbia. Jill brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the WaterStreet team and is passionate in her work with families and individuals.
Jill graduated with an Honours BBA from the University of New Brunswick and became a Chartered Accountant in 1990. After 10 years of public practice in New Brunswick and Ontario, she joined the Victoria office of a Canadian full-service investment firm, providing portfolio management, financial planning and investment consulting services for private clients and charities. Today, Jill works with both local and geographically diverse clients where she provides multi-family office services, overseeing integrated investment management, tax, estate and charitable gift planning.
In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, Jill is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She is a member of the CFA Institute Private Wealth Society Leaders Council, Victoria Estate Planning Council, the Canadian & BC Institute of Chartered Accountants and a former director of the CFA Victoria Society. She presently serves as the Secretary of the Royal British Columbia Museum Foundation and as a Trustee for the BC Institute of Chartered Accountants Benevolent Fund.
